TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison to Dr H Forster Morley
Date12 April 1911
Description'A letter has been received from a Fellow of the Society forwarding the note by Miss Porter, which I enclose, with reference to the methods used by the Zoological Recorder in making the entries in the International Catalogue. Our Fellows say that Miss Porter's criticisms appear to him to be justified, and that he does not think the Recorder should in future be allowed to express his personal opinion in the shape of quotation marks around the names of species described by equally competent zoologists.
I am directed to ask you to lay this matter before the Committee of the International Catalogue.'
