Description'I have the honour to enclose cards of invitation to the forthcoming Soiree of the Royal Society, I shall be much obliged if Your Grace will place the invitation before Her Royal Highness the Princess Royal, Duchess of Fife, and I have to assure you that it would give the Officers and the Fellows of the Society generally great gratification if Her Royal Highness and Your Grace would honour us with your presence on this occasion.'
