Description'The Imperial Department of Agriculture for the West Indies [Caribbean] has written to us for permission to reproduce some of the plates from your paper on the Soufriere Eruption in a report by Mr Sands on the return of the ugegetation. etc which they are going to publish in the West Indian Bulletin. The Society will raise no objection if you do not; and I shall be glad to know that you will concur.
I believe all the illustrations were from process blocks and that electros can consequently be made from them; we should send electros can consequently be made from them; we should send electros of the plates required as it is contrary to our practice to lend original blocks.'
