TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison to The Remington Typewriter Co
DateUndated
DescriptionHarrison writes that he is quite aware of the circumstances if the adjustment of the typewriters, and points out that the Remington Typerwriter Co's three representatives each attempted to adjust the same parts of the machines. It is not, as the Company's previous letter suggests, a question of other slight derangements cropping up.
Harrison details the problems with both typewriter machines. The first two repairers that came were here [Burlington House] for no longer that 15 minutes and only Mr Evans, who really did the work properly, was here for about three-quarters of an hour.
In these circumstances Harrison cannot see how the Remington Typewriter Company can claim to be paid three times over for one job.
