Description'At the request of HM Government the Royal Society is sending out Commission to investigate trypanosome diseases in Nyasaland [Malawi]. Capt A E Hamerton DSO, one of the members of the Commission, has booked a passage by the SS "Goorkha" which leaves Southampton on July 14, and it is necessary that he should take out with him 1000 rounds of ammunition for rifle and shot gun. The ammunition is being supplied by Messrs Cogswell and Harrison, 226 Strand, and I shall be much obliged if you will furnish them with a permit to ship this ammunition on the "Goorkha".'
