Description'Adventing to the letter addressed to you by Sir Joseph Larmor on May 3, re your paper on "An electric hygrometer", I am directed to inform you that the Physics & Chemistry Sectional Committee, having regard to the time which has elapsed without a reply from you on the subject, concluded that you desire to withdraw the paper, and at their meeting that week instructed me to regard it as withdraw.
If their inclusion is [?], will you please send me a formal intimation that the paper is regarded as not having been communicated to the Society at all, as required by Standing Orders?'
