| Description | In reply to Miss Anderson's note, the regulation with regard to the Scientific Relief application is not that the Presidents of the Committee undertake to give an opinion on the scientific work for which the application is made. The Committee judges applications on its general merit but cannot be considered unless introduced by the President of one of the Societies specified.
Mr W L Anderson's application is difficult because it does not fall under the scope of any of the societies as it deals with engineering problems. Harrison suggests the Physical Society being the nearest he could suggest. Harrison returns Miss Anderson's book and suggests she assigns some dates. |
