TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison to Dr J [John] W [William] Mallet FRS
Date14 July 1911
Description'I am much obliged by your letter of the 3rd July and will do my best to obtain the two volumes you mention which are missing from the set in your University library. At the same time I feel bound to defend the office again your remark that the transfer of your name from the Volume List to Separate Papers List was made without any request or suggestion from you, because I have in my hands at this moment a postcard dated October 1908, signed by you, requesting us to send you the [Philosophical] Transactions [of the Royal Society] A and B in separate papers at issue. However, we have put the whole matter straight now.'
