TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison to Miss M Messer, The Lime, 61 Rye Hill Park, Peckham Rye
Date14 July 1911
Description'Sir Joseph Larmor has asked me to reply to your letters of June 25 and July 12. I have not received authority to sanction your making a copy of our portrait of Sir William Huggins for Professor Hale, and I shall be much obliged by your letter me know when you proposed to begin your work upon the copy, and how long you are likely to be occupied with it. It is necessary for me to make arrangements in this connection as soon as possible, because throughout August three of the principal rooms in the place will be in the hands of decorators, and during the latter fortnight of August the place will be closed altogether for cleaning. I take it for granted that you will make the copy here.'
