TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison to Horace E War, 110 Summer Street, Boston, USA
Date20 July 1911
DescriptionThe Royal Society has received the copy of Ware's pamphlet "Observations with the dipping needle as Boston in 1722" and the accompanying letter. In regard to the matter about which Ware enquired, Harrison says that the Royal Society are not able to trace Capt Beale's original journals to which he refers. Harrison suggests it might be worth enquiring whether they are at the Admiralty, at Molyneux was a Commissioner of the Admiralty. Or they might possible be in Dublin, say at Trinity College.
