TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison to Major P [Percy] A [Alexander] MacMahon FRS
Date3 August 1911
Description'I have been looking through your proof returned. I hope you will not insist on centralizing all the lines; in my opinion the results would look much worse and be less easy to follow than it is now, and it would appear in the Phil[osophical] Trans[actions of the Royal Society] vol as an exception to the customary mode of spacing formulas in quarto - not to speak of cost.
I shall retain the proof until we hear from you at this address. If you forego these changes, no revise will be needed.'
