TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison [Signed by A H White] to Professor W M Thornton, Newcastle-on-Tyne
Date3 August 1911
DescriptionThe Royal Society are getting estimates for reproducing Thornton's paper and may send the work abroad. It is proposed to cut down the cultures removing all unnecessary margin, and propose to print on a white background. Harrison encloses a sample. Harrison asks whether Thornton could supply any or all of the negatives.
Harrsion asks that Thornton states his preference and the Royal Society shall act accordingly. As the cultures are not separately marked, and the figures only numbers and described on the back, there is room for misunderstanding.'
