Description'Referring to the paper on the Calonimetry of Gases by Dr W E Fisher, communicated by you for the Proceedings: I enclose herewith for your consideration a report on the paper which is, as you will see, unfavourable to publication.
The paper has not been read before the Society and it is therefore open to you to withdraw it if after consideration with the author, you should wish to do so. Otherwise it will come up for consideration be the Sectional Committee at their next meeting.'
