Description'I shall be much obliged if you will place the enclosed card of invitation for the Royal Society's Anniversary Dinner on Thursday, November 30th., before his Royal Highness, Prince Arthur of Connaught, and express to him on behalf of myself and the Council the great gratification it would give us and the Fellows generally if his Royal Highness would honour us with his presence on this occasion.'
