Adverting to our previous correspondence on the above may I now ask if you would be agreeable to lending us the negative for a day or two. We are having the portrait reproduced in photogravure, by the Swan Engraving Co., and in order to obtain the most satisfactory reproduction Mr Cameron Swan asks is if he could have the use of the negative. Every care would be taken of it and Mr Swan undertakes to return it intact in 3 days. Your name would of course appear beneath the reproduction.'
