TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison to A J Berry
Date20 November 1911
Description'In reply to your letter of the 18th the next meeting, after the 23rd, at which you paper would be read in the ordinary course would be on January 11; but if you will refer to the notice sent to you on Friday last you will see that it is not necessary for you to be present to read your paper as "the reading by one of the Secretaries of the title of a paper technically constitutes a reading of the paper". Unless therefore you particularly wish to make an oral statement of the contents. If, however, you prefer to have the reading postponed please let me know before Thursday next.
I would point out that delay in the "reading" of a paper may lead to delay in its publication.'
