TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison to Dr W [William] H [Henry] Young FRS
Date3 May 1911
Description'This morning I received you two postcards of the 1st instant, and you paper, which by your second postcard you wish to have returned for correction. This I am doing, without registering it as a paper communicated.
With regard to the questions on the first postcard, it is immaterial whether papers are addressed to the Secretaries or to me so long as they are sent here, and not to anyone's private address. Your paper "On a class of parametric intervals" was received here on April 19th and ultimately registerd as received on that date; but the officer being closed for the Easter vacation, the despatch of the acknowledgment was delayed until the following week.
Every paper received is laid by me before one of the Principal Secretaries, according to its subject, in accordance with the Standing Orders of Council.'
