TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison to Professor Karl Pearson FRS
Date3 January 1912
Description'In partial reply to your letter of the 30th December I think I cannot do better than send you the enclosed copy of the certificate of candidature of "Samuel Glaton of Birmingham", who appears to have been elected a Fellow here on December 8, 1785 (not 1786 as noted in the memoranda you quote). This answers your first two questions.
Your enquiry with regard to his contributions to the Society and to our possessing any portrait of him will take longer to look up, but I will send you a reply as soon as possible.'
