Description'Applications for Challenger Reports.
Will members of the Committee kindly minute their opinions on the following applications:-
(1) From the Institut Oceanographique (founded by the Prince of Monaco) for a complete set of the Challenger Reports; they offer in exchange the "Annales de l'Institut Oceanographique". Sir John Murray strongly supports this application,
(2) From the Lick Observatory: for any of the Challenger volumes the Royal Society could give, but particularly for the volume relating to Deep Sea Deposits.'
