TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison to the Director, Science Museum, South Kensington, SW
Date10 January 1912
Description'Sir N Lockyer's paper on Brook's Comet.
Messrs Harrison, our printers, have passed on to me your order to them for 150 copies of above paper. May I take this opportunity of saying, that our printers cannot receive orders for private copies of papers published by the Royal Society. When extra copies are desired application for such should be made to this office, and bills for such will be sent out from here, not from the printers, who will merely supply the copies direct.
It will same trouble if you would very kindly note this for future cases. I observe your order to MEssrs Harrison is for 150 copies. Sir N Lockyer had filled in his application form, returned to us with his proofs, for 100 only, but I presume I may take it that 150 is the number now desired.'
