TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison to Sir Edward Thorpe KCB, FRS
Date12 January 1912
Description'It is considered that the short notice of Sir Humphrey Davy printed among our list of Presidents in the Record requires re-writing for the new edition which is now in preparation, and I am venturing to ask if you would render us the assistance of reading through the old form and making any additions or corrections you think desirable. The notice is, as you see, quite short, and it is not desired to extend it materially. The notice of Newton in the same list does not exceed 10 lines of print. You have Davy's list so fully in your mind that you will probably be able to put this note in order straight away; and the sooner you can let me have it back the better the President will be pleased.'
