TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison to Dr Charles Chree FRS
Date17 January 1912
Description'Many thanks for the proof of the Gassiot Sub-Committee Minutes received this morning.
With regard to Lafayette, all that has happened is that Lafayette wrote here some weeks ago asking for permission to photograph the people attending the anniversary celebrations this year, and the answer they received was that no decision on the subject could be given at present. If they are claiming that they have official authority to take such photographs they are assuming too much, and we certainly did not understand that they wanted to take any action in the matter so soon.'
