Description'Replying to your enquiry of Jan 18, it is necessary, before the consent of Council can be obtained to the reproduction of an illustration in a paper published by the Society, that the authors' permission be obtained.
If you will send me a formal intimation that Messrs Buckmaster & Gardiner permit you to use the figure on P 562 of Proc[eedings of the Royal Society] B Vol 79, to which you refer, I will instruct our printers to prepare a supply you with an electro of the block: this can be done at a quite nominal cost.'
