TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison to H Coward
Date5 February 1912
DescriptionHarrison has discovered that there is a serious leak from a rain water pipe on the east wall of this [Burlington] House and that leakage has penetrated right through the wall. Harrison will be obliged by Coward sending to have this pipe replaced.
Another matter which Harrison wishes to consult Coward on is that for a considerable time the Royal Society have had recurrent trouble with the wastes from the larger lavatory, and from what Harrison learns it seems clear that the pipes want entirely resetting. Harrison shall be glad to know whether Corward's department will undertake this work.
