1) I received the opportunity last [evening] of [reporting] to you about [?]. Would Wednesday the 21st (that is next Wednesday week)suit you for this meeting to receive Mr Threford's report, & discuss the position? I understand it [will] suit Sir J Lawes, if so I will recieve notice.
2) These [?] Railway Co people now set up a new [?] in demanding sa copy of the minute sending the [?] of a stock together, certified by the PResident. I do not believe they are entitled to [?] it; but I had better [?] would with it if they press for it & as [?] a copy of the minute, which perhaps you will kindly sign and return to me.'
