DescriptionMessrs W B Keen & Co, a firm of Chartered Accountants who are employed to prepare the annual accounts of the Royal Society, have referred to the Treasurer a series of questions, which have been addressed to them by the Board of Inland Revenue. The Treasurer understand that information is required including a list of addressed, the Brokers' notes for the purchases of India three and a half percent Stock made during year 1908-9, the address of Professor Klebs, the Croonian Lecturer.
The Treasurer is anxious to afford all information is which proper, but as there enquiries are now made for the first time the Treasurer thinks it would be convenient if he could see the Secretary or some responsible representative with whom he can discuss the whole matter.
