TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison to Dr W S Lazarus-Barlow
Date22 February 1912
Description'With reference to your paper "On the presence of radium in some carcoinomatous tumours", I have been asked by Sir John Bradford to say that he is prepared to communicate it to the Society and to recommend its publication in the Proceedings, if you are willing to modify it in the sense of the following suggestions:- "The specific mention should be made of the absence of radium in the solvents, and that it should also be stated whether every precaution was taken against radium contamination".
The curves indicates that radium emanation was present, but it is not proposed to reproduce them, as they are so irregular.
I shall be glad to hear whether you are prepared to carry out these suggestions in your paper, in which case it shall be set up in type and a proof sent to you.'
