Description'Your letter applying for a grant towards the cost of an expedition to the Montebello Islands having come in too late to be treated as an application to the Government Grant Committee in regular form, can only be laid before the Council which does not meet again until March 21st. In these circumstance perhaps you will name somebody to whom any decision the Council may come to may be communicated in your absence.'
