TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison to L Newcombe
Date6 March 1912
DescriptionHarrison is getting a little anxious about the "periodical register" or card catalogue of the current serials which he had hoped might have been ready at the beginning of 1912. Newcombe will remember that Harrison order and ample supply of cards, he is told that Newcombe has sent in some 200. These are now in use; but it is undesirable to be compelled to go on using the old catalogue for accessions for the periodical.
Newcombe's original undertaking included a periodical register and Harrison has been relying on Newcombe throughout to supply the Royal Society Library with a complete set of cards.
Harrison hopes the full catalogue is very nearly ready for press, and he is particularly anxious to have it printed and published before July.
