Description'Answering your enquiry this morning, the Council on the 21st inst is to "receive the report" of the Govt. Grant Committee, which will have met on the previous day, the 20th, to frame its recommendations. Unless you, have some particular view to urge to the Govt Grant Committee upon any of the recommendations which are to go before them, and which will be in your hands before the meeting there is no especial reason for your attending the meeting on the Wednesday.
You will remember that on the next day, the 21st, the biological members of Council are to meet at 12 o'clock to consider the suggestions (already circulated) for the Croonian lecture.'
