TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison to The Acting Director, National Physical Laboratory
Date15 December 1911
Description'I send a note with regard to your letter of Wednesday to Sir Joseph Larmor, who has handed it on to me. I cannot discover whether he has answered it personally, or not; but, in case he has not, I have it on his authority that in the event of Mr Gray being adopted as the nominee of the Institution of Electrical Engineers in substitution for Major O'Meara whose name they put forward to our Council, the Council would be moved to adopt the latter gentleman as one of the Royal Society nominees.'
