TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison to Colonel G S Clarke, RE, GCSI, FRS, Bombay
Date18 April 1912
Description'I beg to acknowledge your letter of March 24th calling attention to the imperfect description of your rank and distinctions in the Year Book of the Royal Society. I much regret that the entry should have remained in this form, and fear that we have allowed ourselves to rely too rigidly on the long standing practice of depending entirely upon spontaneous information from the Fellows as to changes in their designation. I will see that the proper entry is made in the next edition of the list.'
