TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison to Messrs Ring & Brymer
Date1 May 1912
Description'The Corporation have agreed to lend the Guildhall for a banquet which is to be held on July 16th in connection with the celebration of the 250th Anniversary of this Society, and I am directed to put myself in communication with you with the view of arranging a contract for the dinner.
I shall therefore be obliged by your quoting me a price per head for a dinner of a suitable character for that occasion, including wines, on a menu to be submitted by you - the terms to include all fees for attendance; except that we should engage our own toast-master. So far as we can say at present the number dining will be somewhere in the neighbourhood of 400, but may be more - I do not think it is likely to be less.
I shall be obliged at the same time by your informing me whether you undertake the cloakroom arrangements or whether we have settle those with the Guildhall authorities.'
