TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison to Messrs Elliot & Fry
Date6 May 1912
DescriptionHarrison has again consulted the President with reference to the portrait of Lord Lister. The cabinet photograph sent by Elliot & Fry gives the portrait as desired for the photogravure, subject to the head being mor in the centre.
Harrison should be glad to entrust them with the printing of the plate under ordinary circumstance, but as the Royal Societyhave a number of others the President is anxious to ve quite sure of uniformity as regards paper, and therefore desires that all the plates in the book shall be printing by the Oxford Press. Harrison shall be glad therefore if they will put this photogravure in hand at once and sent it here [Burlington House] as soon as possible.
