TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison to A R Waller, Univeristy Press, Cambridge
Date14 May 1912
Description'In reply to your letter of the 10th, the grant voted by the Royal Society in aid of the publication of Messrs Whitehead and Russell's "Principia Mathematica" was voted on January 20th 1910 to be paid in two annual instalments. Since these have not been applied for I imagine there will be no objection, after the lapse of two years, to paying over at once the whole sum, and I will lay your letter before the Treasurer with that object. At the same time we should like to know how many volumes will be occupied by the whole work.'
