Date15 May 1912
Description'I am much obliged by your letter of yesterday and feel sure that your proffered exhibit, if there were an opportunity of showing it, would be of great interest; but we are not going to have the usual LAdies Soiree in June this year, substituting for it a Conversazione in connection with the Anniversary celebrations in July, at which there may or may not be any scientific exhibits. If it is decided to have them I will not fail to put your offer forward.'
