Description'I am instructed by the President and Council of the Royal Society to inform you that at their meeting yesterday they found that they were able to extend their invitations to the approaching celebration of the 250th Anniversary of the Society by desiring the presence of a representative of the Faculties of the University of Adelaide, as well as of the Royal Society of South Australia, which has already received as invitation.
As the time is now short for the invitation to reach the University I am instructed to notify you of the circumstances as you may have means of making the intimation in advance.'
