I understand it to be agreed as follows:
1. That the library will be closed & the office rooms only partly open throughout whitsun week for alterations & cleaning.
2. That the [place] will be closed altogether for the usual whitsuntide holiday from Saturday to Whit Tuesday inclusive.
3. That the last [?] may extend the holiday to the end of the week in lieu of pervious holidays excluded - (or...
4. That such members of the staff as gave up holidays at Easter to attend the office shall be at [?] to extend the Whitsuntide holiday to an equivilent [?]'
