TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison to Dr W S Bruce
Date18 May 1912
Description'In answer to your enquiry, I beg to say we duly received the copy of Vol. 3 of the Scotia Reports and acknowledged it. We have also received the Vols 2 and 4, which both came in 1908, but Volume 5 is not on our shelves and would seem not to have been received. We shall of course be glad to received these valuable volumes as published.
With regard to the International Catalogue of Scientific Literature, I am afraid we cannot help you, for though the Royal Society took a leading past in initiating that work, it is not a Royal Society publication, and our own copies are obtained by subscription. I am not aware that there are any presentation copies distributed. However the bureau of the Catalogue is at 33 Southampton Street, Strand, and the Director (Dr Forster Morley) would be able to give you authentic official information.'
