TitleCopy letter from John Rose Bradford, to The Honorable Whitelaw Reid
Date23 May 1912
DescriptionPrincipal learned and scientific societies in all parts of the world have been invited to send delegates to the Royal Society's 250 Anniversary celebrations. In connection with this the King has graciously decided to give a Garden Party at Windsor on 18 July, and the Duke of Northumberland will give a garden party at Syon House on 17 July.

A Committee has been formed to make arrangements for ladies accompanying delegates to visit places of interest in London, and on behalf of this Committee Harrison is directed to say that they would be very grateful if any facilities could be afforded for a party of ladies, limited in number, to visit Dorchester House on the mornings of the 17 and 18 July.
