TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to The Chief Superintendent of the Fire Brigade
Date24 June 1912
DescriptionHarrison understands that they sometimes recommend pensioners of the Fire Brigade to act as caretakers, and if so, he would be greatly obliged if they could recommend a thoroughly trustworthy man who would be likely to accept a job of mounting guard in the building on Sundays for the whole day, and for one evening in the week. There would be nothing for him to do but answer the door and very little of that. But it is important that the person should be trustworthy and respectable.
