DescriptionThe Council of The Royal Society would like to arrange organized visits for a number of distinguished foreign men of learning who are expected to visit London in connection with the Society's 250th Anniversary celebrations. Asks whether it would be practicable to make some special arrangement for the reception of such delegates on 17 and 18 July, and for them to be conducted to the most interesting parts by some responsible officer. Some of the delegates will be accompanied by ladies.
