DescriptionHarrison does not know how many delegates [to the 250th Anniversary of the Royal Society] may elect to accept the invitations of the universities, but according to the latest count, the total number of delegates now announced is 184, of whom 64 are British, leaving 120 foreign and colonial to be divided between the two universities. Presumes that the acceptances of the invitations cannot be known at the earliest before 16 July.
