TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to A L Hughes, Emmanuel College, Cambridge
Date12 July 1912
DescriptionThe Officers of the Royal Society have no authority to alter the terms of tenure on which the elections to the Mackinnon Studentship were based. Harrison suggests consulting his friends as to whether he should make formal application to the Council of the Royal Society to hold the demonstratorship referred to in his letter. The proof of his paper on the 'Emission of velocities of photo-electrons' was sent on to him on 10 July, addressed to the care of Sir [Joseph John] Thomson.
