TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Dr [Aubrey] Strahan, Fellow of the Royal Society, The Tyndall Mining Bequest Committee
Date27 July 1912
DescriptionThe President [Sir Archibald Geikie] is sending to each member of the Tyndall Mining Bequest Committee a copy of a letter which he has received from Dr J S Haldane [regarding the Tyndall Studentship], and he would be glad to have their views on the matter. Geikie's own opinion is that as Dr Llwewllyn's work has proved to be excellent and is still incomplete, the Committee would be well advised to continue the tenure of the studentship for a third year.

Similar letters were sent to: Professor [Harold Baily] Dixon, Dr [Ernest Howard] Griffiths, Professor [John] Cadman, The Secretary of the Insitution of Mining Engineers, W E Garfort[?], Sir H Cunynghame.
