TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Professor [Edward Albert Sharpey] Schafer, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date29 July 1912
DescriptionHarrison has heard a rumour that Schafer was taken rather seriously ill after the banquet at the Guildhall, and that it is attributed to some deleterious food supplied by the caterers. A report has also reached him that Professor Perkin was similarly affected. The Treasurer would like to know if there are any truth in these reports, because if so, some protest will have to be made to the caterers before their bill is paid.
