Description | At the request of the Government, the Royal Society has sent out a Commission to Nyasaland [Malawi] under the direction of Colonel Sir David Bruce to investigate Trypanosoma Disease. For the purposes of the investigation it is necessary that the Commission should be supplied every three months with white rats and guinea pigs, which are unobtainable in that country.
Their company was good enough on a former occasion to assist in the matter of transporting such animals to Nyasaland [Malawi], and Harrison has been directed to ask if they will undertake the conveyance of two small cases to Chinde at regular intervals. Each will contain 50 white rats and 25 guinea pigs. |
