TitleCopy letter from F A Towle, to Robert William Frederick Harrison, Assistant Secretary of the Royal Society
Date13 August 1912
DescriptionTowle has received the Gassiot and Tropical Diseases Committee Minutes and he is attending to them. The quoted letters in the latter committee minutes were standing in type, and that is why they were not re-set in a smaller type.

Sir John Rose Bradford returned the letter to the Colonial Office signed, without any comment. The matter of sending animals to Sir David Bruce has caused a lot of trouble, but it is in hand now.

The Privy Council has sent around an urgent letter yesterday with regard to the Royal Society being represented at the International Congress of Comparative Pathology in October. They have been informed that the Society had not been specifically asked to send anybody, but if anything could be done during the vacation, they would be informed.
