TitleCopy letter from [unknown correspondent], to Dr H L Duke
Date23 August 1912
DescriptionThe proposals in his letters of 12 July and 22 July will be brought before the Tropical Diseases Committee as soon as possible, but it is doubtful that a meeting could be summoned before October. The question of closing the laboratory at Mpuma is one that must come before the Committee for settlement. Thinks that the proposals are very good, and hopes that the Committee will agree with them.

The papers are published in the Sleeping Sickness reports and nearly all of them in addition in the 'Proceedings [of the Royal Society]' so as to ensure that no undue delay in publication should occur. Publication in any other journal would have to be sanctioned by the Committee, and it seems that no paper of Duke's has not been published in one or both of these volumes. His paper has been passed for press. A letter from Miss Robertson has come in with her plans, and she is being written to at the moment.
