TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Colonel Sir David Bruce, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date25 September 1912
DescriptionBruce's letter of 22 July received this month, so far as the question of the drawings of trypanosomes is concerned, been anticipated by the cable correspondence in July. As has previously been explained, the search has been fruitless. Sir William Leishman has searched the R A M College, and found nothing. Another search was made there with the same result.

Bruce's letter from the Governor will be duly noted and no doubt the Colonial Office will contact them about it.

The accounts which have been sent in for the course of the year, including the one for freight on the 'Goorkha' have been collected for transmission to the Colonial Office all together, and they will be sent there now for payment, as the expenses of his present expedition do not pass through the Royal Society's books.

Hopes that Bruce has received back from Swifts the objective which was sent to them on 2 April.
